Every sinful offspring of God owe a debt he/she cannot pay. Jesus came as the Lamb of God to pay the debt HE did not owe. Sin is the debt we all owe. The wages of sin is death.
God's redemption plan began in the Garden of Eden when HE made the coat of skin from the Lamb He slaughtered in order to cover the nakedness of Adam and Eve and replace the fig leaves they chose for themselves.
Jesus was "the Lamb God slaughtered from the foundation of the world" (Rev.13:8). Jesus was "the Lamb of God which took away the sin of the world" (John1:29).
The Jews prepared the Lamb.
The Romans offered the Lamb.
Jesus laid down His life.
God was the ONE who sacrificed Jesus for our sins.
The blood of Jesus is still speaking better things than the blood of Abel. The blood is a witness on the earth.
After Adam and Eve exercised their freewill (WILL POWER) to sin against God in the Garden, God said, "Behold, the man has become as one of us" (Gen.3:22).
"My Spirit shall no longer strive with man, because, he is now flesh" Gen6.3.
Your freewill is your will power. You are made in the image of God to look, think, talk and act like HIM. The big question to you is this: Would you submit, obey and be dependent on God? OR: Would you rebel, disobey and act independent of God?
TO LIVE LIKE ADAM OR TO LIVE LIKE JESUS is the choice and the decision you and I have the freewill to make.
The redemption and the departure from sin require a plan. God prepared the plan and programmed the process.
Jesus was the "Seed of the woman" whom God spoke of in Genesis 3:15. Jesus was the "Star" Balaam spoke of in Numbers 24:17. Jesus was the "Prophet" Moses spoke about in Deuteronomy 18:15. Jesus was the "Immanuel" which mean "God with us" and "The Mighty God, Everlasting Father" which Isaiah spoke about in Isa.7:14, 9:6. Jesus was "the King, riding upon the colt" which Zechariah spoke about in Zech.9:9.
Salvation is a God-made package which include; repentance, new birth, redemption, forgiveness, reconciliation, justification, adoption, restoration and eternal life. It is made available for you free. God offers it to all for free.
